Power Over Ethernet The DGS-1008MP features eight 10/100/1000BASE-T ports that support the IEEE 802.3at Power over Ethernet (PoE) standard. The DGS-1008MP is furthermore built around a fanless design. Green Technology The DGS-1008MP supports IEEE 802.3az Energy-Efficient Ethernet (EEE), reducing the power consumption of the switch when network utilisation is low and minimising operating costs during periods of inactivity.
